F3 Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our Infrastructure team, which is focused on designing and implementing infrastructure supporting our customers. This position involves designing, configuring and deploying servers, storage solutions, & hypervisors to fit customer requirements & business needs.

Our office is in West Hartford, CT and many employees are within two hours of our HQ. While this job is hybrid, all candidates will need to be in CT or MA.

To succeed in this role, you must be adaptable and creative in identifying client opportunities. You must also provide exceptional customer service and be enthusiastic about building in-person client and manufacturer partner relationships. Delivering top tier customer experience and solutions is crucial to this role.
This role does require extensive time on the road, visiting customers and performing installations. Average annual mileage is in the 25-35K mile range.
Responsibilities:
·Partner closely with account managers, specialists and manufacturer partners to create a seamless and holistic customer experience.
·Capture requirements and translate Customer’s business needs into innovative solutions to accelerate their growth and capacity.
·Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and lock in the technical win with existing clients and prospective accounts.
·Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.
·Implement solutions for storage, compute, virtualization, and networking infrastructures.
·Deploy and manage Storage arrays and related Storage technologies (Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, and cloning) including monitoring and troubleshooting, administration, replication, security hardening and performance tuning.
·Deploy and configure VMware vSphere, vCenter and Hyperconverged Solutions.
·Provide operational engineering support to enterprise-level solutions using virtual server hosting, backup solutions, off-site data replication and service level storage solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
·3 or more years of relevant experience, mixed among technology, design, and communications required. Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred.
·Strong understanding of the architecture, design and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and storage solutions.
·Strong understanding of storage protocols and services (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, etc).
·Thorough understanding of storage design, specification, and testing methodologies.
·Proficiency in deploying and managing onsite storage hardware infrastructure components, including physical servers, virtual machines, storage arrays, and networking equipment.
·Proven ability to diagnose and remediate complex server/client connectivity issues.
·Knowledge or Training on VMware and ESX 6.0+ deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
·Proficient understanding of Storage concepts, related management tools, and related Storage technologies (Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, etc) including monitoring and troubleshooting, administration, replication technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
·Experience with Fiber Channel zoning and masking.
·Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
·Experience with Enterprise Backup technologies (Commvault, Cohesity, Rubrik or similar).
·Experience with Hyper Converged and/or Hypervisor technologies (VMware, AHV, Hyper-V or similar).
·Common Industry Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMWare VCP-DCV, NetApp, Pure, Dell.
